Gospel musician and pastor Linet Munyali, famously known as Size 8, has sparked reactions among Kenyans after a post on her alleged separation from her husband Samuel Muraya, aka DJ Mo, after eleven years of marriage.
Size 8 shared the news on her official Instagram account on Thursday August 1, stating that she had been married for 11 years but is now single.
The ‘Afadhali Yesu’ hitmaker acknowledged that while marriage can be a divine blessing, it sometimes doesn’t work out as hoped.
“Sometimes marriage works by God’s grace and sometimes it does not work but all in all God is still on the throne!” she wrote.
The mother of two announced that she is starting a new chapter as a single woman and will continue to worship God with unwavering devotion.
“I have been married for 11 years and now I start the Journey of single hood. But God is still on the throne I worship you Yaweh!” Size 8 said.

Size 8 and DJ Mo tied the knot in September 2013 and have been blessed with two children during their marriage.
This is not the first time the couple have had issues surrounding their relationship.
In 2022, Size 8 and DJ Mo had to address rumors of their split that had spread widely at the time.

On their YouTube channel, the songstress admitted to leaving their matrimonial home with their two children to live elsewhere due to arguments reported in the tabloids.
Size 8 would later reveal that she had left to get some air after a misunderstanding with DJ Mo.
“Yes, I did run away from home. I ran away because I was very angry with DJ Mo. He had wronged me. I just needed some space to breathe and talk to God,” she said.
“Mo had wronged me, and it was not something small, but he apologized. We sat down with men of God, Pastor Joan and Pastor Chris Chege, and came to a biblical conclusion. We are now reconciled in marriage by the grace of God.”

DJ Mo commented that disagreements and fights are normal and unavoidable in a marriage setting.
In 2020, the couple fell out again after blogger Edgar Obare exposed DJ Mo having intimate chats with an alleged side chick.
The two lovebirds later reconciled on their reality show ‘Dining with the Murayas’.
The news came as a shocker to their fans with some doubting Thomases who questioned whether they were clout-chasing.
