The sudden and tragic death of Milcah Nyatuga Murang’a, popularly known as Milly wa Doc, a beloved Nakuru-based Kenyan TikToker, has left her fans and the online community in shock.
Milly, who gained fame for sharing her vibrant personality, culinary content, and glimpses of her personal life on TikTok, passed away on June 3, 2025, at PHG Hospital in Nakuru, just a month after her civil wedding to her husband, Odeke, in April 2025.
Her family revealed that her death was due to complications from a stomach cyst operation, which led to excessive bleeding, a blood transfusion, and ultimately acute kidney failure.
The news has sparked widespread mourning, with tributes highlighting her infectious Joy and resilience, while also raising questions about the circumstances of her passing, given her previous emotional struggles and cryptic predictions about her life.
Milly wa Doc Brother Confirmed Her Dead
Through a video shared by his brother on 3 June, the TikTok Star died on Tuesday night, and the news spread widely on Wednesday morning
“I am here to confirm to those who have been asking about my sister, Milly wa Doc, I had been informed before that she was not feeling well and that she was in the hospital for treatment, but unfortunately, this morning I received sad news that she passed on at night,” he said

Milly wa Doc, whose vibrant TikTok presence captivated thousands, was cherished for her genuine spirit and heartfelt engagement with fans.

Her recent wedding to Odeke in April 2025 filled her followers with Joy, as they celebrated her new chapter alongside her.
Tragically, that happiness has been overshadowed by grief following her sudden passing, leaving her community heartbroken and reflecting on her enduring impact.
Milly wa Doc Past Relationships
Additionally, the TikTok content creator was previously in a highly publicised relationship with Zac, also known as doc or daddy the couple, often referred to as mummy and daddy, shared their relationship openly on social media, showcasing their daily lives and affection for each other.

However, their relationship ended in late 2024 under distressing circumstances.
In emotional videos and interviews, Milly revealed that Zac’s ex-partners and colleagues subjected her to online harassment.
She accused Zac of failing to defend her against these attacks and alleged that he was emotionally and physically abusive.
Additionally, she also claimed that Zac’s father had warned her about his son’s behaviour, suggesting he could be dangerous.
Her daughter reportedly urged her to leave the relationship after witnessing the abuse.
