Woman Dismissed by Pastor Ng’ang’a Receives Over Ksh320 K in Donations

A woman from Mukuru Kwa Njenga informal settlement who was dismissed by Pastor Ng’ang’a after asking for his help with rent has received over Ksh320,000 in donations from Kenyans.

A fundraiser was organized after a clip of the pastor telling off the woman identified as Milka Tegisi went viral. Tegisi had asked for help with her house rent during a church service at Ng’ang’a’s church, Neno Evangelism Centre.

In the clip, Pastor Ng’ang’a tells the lady to go to the police or the government and ask for a house under the affordable housing program.

“Do not bring me problems related to your house. Now that you have been locked out of your house, you have come to look for money. This is a house of prayer; if you want money, go to the government,” added the preacher.

The fundraiser was organised by a police officer Sammy Ondimu, who has been giving an update on the fundraiser.

Taking to his Instagram platform, Sammy thanked those who chipped in including Content creator Terence Creative for paying three months rent and paying school fees for the lady’s son.
