An autopsy conducted on the body of the late Joan Nzomo, the lady who fell from the 10th floor of an apartment in Kasarani, Nairobi has revealed the cause of her death.
Government pathologist Dr Peter Ndegwa said the 19-year-old college student died as a result of multiple injuries due to blunt force trauma caused by the fall.
Dr Ndegwa said it was early to ascertain whether the diseased was pushed from the 10th floor or whether it was a case of suicide.
“She died as a result of injuries due to blunt force trauma consistent with a fall from height. That’s my conclusion. Not stab wounds, all of them are from blunt objects consistent with a fall from height,” he explained.
He also confirmed that Nzomo did not have any stab wound on her body.
“So, the issue now is to establish the manner of death whether accidental, suicide of even murder,” stated Dr Ndegwa.
