Cancer Care Kenya Limited (CCK) has reported one of its strongest financial years, recording a profit of Sh162.49 million for the period that ended March 31, 2025.
The profits are a result of rapid revenue growth and rising demand for oncology services, a trend that has boosted confidence among investors, including Health Care Global (HCG).
Healthcare Global Enterprises is set to increase its stake in CCK.
The Indian healthcare group, Healthcare Global Enterprises Ltd. (HCG), is a leading oncology healthcare provider that operates a network of cancer treatment hospitals across India and internationally.
The company specializes in comprehensive cancer care, including radiation therapy, medical oncology, surgical oncology, diagnostics, and advanced treatment technologies.
The group is known for its expertise and integrated cancer treatment model. HCG partnered with Cancer Care Kenya in July 2017 to improve cancer treatment in Kenya.
HCG is set to increase its investment in Cancer Care Kenya Limited to 91.63%. The company will acquire an additional 10% of CCK’s share capital. This investment is set to be completed on or before March 31, 2026

The rise in profit
The financial year that ended March 31, 2025, CCK recorded a profit after tax of INR 10.83 crore, translating to approximately Sh162.49 million. This underscores the center’s rapid growth in profit.

Over the past three financial years, the center has recorded a 369% revenue rise, which, when audited, translates to:
- FY 2024-25: INR 425,307,493 million
- FY 2023-24: INR 178,287,018 million
- FY 2022-23: INR 90,734,034 million
The growth is characterized by rising patient volumes, expanded service offerings, and increased adoption of advanced oncology treatments.
Cancer Care Kenya: A Growing Player in Oncology Services
Cancer Care Kenya, a provider of cancer care in Kenya, was incorporated in 2007 and operates the HCG CCK Cancer Centre, a 15-bed day care facility offering specialist cancer treatment in Nairobi.
CCK provides Chemotherapy, administration consultation, Diagnostic services including imaging and pathology, and follow-up care.
The center has been of significant importance in addressing the need for cancer care in Kenya and the entire East Africa region. The center serves cancer patients in Kenya who cannot afford the money to travel to India for specialized cancer treatment.
Since July 2017, when the center partnered with HCG, medical care in the region has been significantly enhanced.
