The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) has increased the prices of tickets ahead of the CHAN 2024 quarter finals.
Fans will now purchase regular tickets at Ksh250 for the clash between Kenya and Madagascar at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani, on Friday, August 22, 2025.
Regular tickets have been selling at Ksh200 during the CHAN group stages matches in Kenya.
VIP tickets have been selling at Ksh500, and VVIP tickets at Ksh1,000.
Ticket sales for Harambee Stars’ match against Madagascar will officially open on Tuesday, August 19, at noon.
However, CAF is yet to clarify whether the match will admit the full stadium capacity or maintain the sanctioned 27,000 seats following the security breach during Morocco’s group game.
Tanzania & Uganda CHAN Quarterfinals Ticket Prices
Tanzania will face Morocco at the quarterfinals on the same day at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium.
However, CAF has retained the ticket prices for the match.
Fans will still pay Tsh2,000 (Ksh99) for regular tickets, Tsh5,000 (Ksh248) for VIP B and Tsh10,000 (Ksh496) for VIP A.
Uganda will host the runners-up of Group D after topping Group C.
The match will be played at the Mandela National Stadium on August 23.
CAF has not displayed the prices of the tickets on the website.
However, ordinary tickets have been going for Shs10,000 (Ksh363), Silver Shs30,000 (Ksh1089) and Premium: Shs50,000 (Ksh1816).
The sales will start on Wednesday, August 20th.

Qualification Drama
For the first time in a CAF competition, three co-hosts, Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, have all advanced to the quarterfinals.
Kenya stunned the continent in their first appearance at the CHAN tournament by topping Group A ahead of Morocco, DR Congo, Angola, and Zambia.
Ryan Ogam’s 75th-minute strike sealed Kenya’s 1-0 win over Zambia.
That win took Benni McCarthy’s men to 10 points, finishing ahead of 2020 champions Morocco.
Similarly, Tanzania topped Group B with 10 points, winning three of their four matches.
The Taifa Stars only dropped points in their final match against the Central African Republic.
Fans packed into the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium throughout the group stage, with high expectations ahead of the clash against Morocco.
Tanzania will also host the quarter-final match between Algeria and the winners of Group D.

Uganda
Uganda finished top of Group C with 7 points ahead of Algeria and South Africa, who tied at 6 points.
The Cranes suffered a 3–0 defeat to Algeria in their opening game.
However, they bounced back with wins over Guinea (3–0) and Niger (2–0).
They shared points with South Africa in their final match in a thrilling 3–3 stalemate.
The point lifted Uganda to the top of Group C, ensuring their first-ever place in the knockout rounds.
Group D Composition
However, Sudan has 4 goals, followed by Senegal with a single goal.
Congo has two points while Nigeria is out of the competition with zero points from the two games.
Sudan and Senegal top of Group D with 4 points from two matches.
Nigeria faces Congo, while Sudan is up against Senegal.
The matches will be played at 8 pm on Tuesday, August 19, at the Mkapa Stadium and the Amaan Stadium, respectively.
