Comedian Kennedy Odhiambo popularly known as Crazy Kennar has announced the launch of his very first live comedy show.
In an emotional video on Wednesday, September 20, the comedian said that he came to the decision because of the immense support he has been receiving from fans.
He recalled when he first began his content creation journey in January 2017, saying that he never imagined growing to become as successful as he is in the industry.
“I never thought I could get the opportunities that I am getting. I never even thought that I would be able to leave this country to go and shoot content abroad,” the comedian said.
Further, he narrated an incident with a parent who encouraged him to continue shooting content.
Kennar stated that the stranger approached him and told him that he was blessing to this generation. A message that has kept him going even through tough times.
“All this has been possible because of the support that you have given me. I remember meeting a parent who told me that I was a role model to his child and a blessing to this generation.
“I walk with that message daily. Even when I feel like leaving this profession to do something else, I remember that I am a blessing to this generation,” he narrated.
Live Show is a Dream Come True – Crazy Kennar
The comedian shared with his fans that organizing a live show has been one of his biggest dreams for six years now. However, he feared actualizing it.
He added that he felt the need to be intimate with his fans and this was an opportunity to do just that.
“This year I want to do something that is so scary to me. I have been thinking about it for the past six years. I want to do a live show. I want to actualize digital comedy into live comedy,” Kennar added.

Live Show Dates and tickets
The comedian shared that the live show would host a capacity of 6,000 people. The show, he added, will be taking place in December 2023, one of many to come.
“I believe that this dream is possible, and I am going to give you the performance of a lifetime and it will be an opportunity for me to have an intimate connection with my fans,’ Kennar stated.
He asked his fans and supporters to help him make the live show a success by sharing the posters, tagging other people and buying the tickets to watch the show.
Kennar however, did not reveal the exact dates for the show or how much the tickets will cost.
Kennar’s Success
Kennar has had immense growth since he launched his career online in January 2017. He amuses his viewers with funny skits that depict real life relatable situations.
Additionally, he traveled to South Africa in September with some of his friends and fans to shoot content sharing videos of the many opportunities they all got to experience.
His fans hailed him with praise for supporting them to go on the trip with him.
