Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna has unveiled a proposed leadership structure for the Linda Mwananchi Party, naming former Meru Governor Kawira Mwangaza, former Law Society of Kenya (LSK) President Faith Odhiambo and Mavoko MP Patrick Makau among those lined up for senior positions.
Sifuna announced the proposed team on Friday, October 30, during the unveiling of the party’s leadership at its headquarters in Lavington, Nairobi.
Under the proposed structure, Sifuna will serve as the party leader, supported by four deputy party leaders drawn from different regions.
Sifuna said the decision to create four deputy positions was meant to accommodate regions where the party already has support and those where it hopes to expand.
