Martha Miano, a has penned a letter addressing the termination of her contract as the Deputy Director of Communications at the office of the Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
Miano has expressed her disappointment in learning about being fired from her job online after her termination letter was circulated by different users.
Further, she said that she had not officially been issued with the letter, which she said was addressed to her from the private secretary of the DP.
“It’s unfortunate that my termination letter had to pass through social media to get to me. As at now, I have not seen or received the letter. But It’s okay. I think that’s how life is,” she stated.

Message to Ruto & Gachagua
Despite losing her job, Miano has said that she remains proud of the work she did while employed under the office.
She has appreciated President William Ruto for allowing her to serve in the capacity, saying that she will continue believing in the vision he has for the country.
Also, she vowed to continue showing her support to the head of state.
“I walk head high without shame or regrets. I know I did my best. My heart is full, and my conscience is clear. To my former boss under the Presidency President William Ruto, thank you very much.
“I believe you have a great vision for this country, and you mean well for all of us. Even without the job… I remain your number one supporter, and I will forever be grateful,” she stated.
At the same time, she sent a message to the deputy president, expressing her gratitude for the opportunity to serve under him.
“To my immediate former boss Rigathi Gachagua, I’m grateful as well.”

Martha Miano Looks Back at her Journey to the Top Office
Miano narrated that working under the office of the deputy president was a dream come true for her, crediting all her success to God.
“From me, it is nothing but gratitude. Working in the second highest office looked like those childhood dreams but God made it happen when President Ruto took over power.
“It’s purely God’s work. And for the tenure to come to an end, I walk away easy,” she said.
In addition, she revealed that she was a trailblazer back at home, calling on friends to help her land a new job.
“What people don’t know is that in my village, no one has ever come close to working in such an office and in that capacity. I was the first at 32 years. It is not a mean achievement by all standards.”
