Mombasa County Governor Nassir Abdulswamad Shariff has condemned the increasing rate of abductions happening in Kenya.
According to the governor such unknown abductions are taking Kenyans back in history to the times they had already wished away.
He emphasized that trying to silence people by making them disappear is unacceptable, further calling on the government to use other means to deal with differences.
“The rate of so-called unknown abductions clearly indicates a return of an era Kenyans had wished away. You cannot silence a people through making them disappear,” said Governor Shariff.
Governor Nassir through a post on social media shared a video of a youth being abducted at Bamburi Go Kart noting that such incidents should not happen in Kenya
