The Israeli Ambassador to Kenya, Gideon Behar, has defended Israel, rejecting the comparison between Israel and Iran on nuclear weapons.
In a media interview in Nairobi, Behar made it very clear that Iran should never be permitted to acquire nuclear weapons.
When asked whether Israel itself had possession of nuclear weapons or intercontinental ballistic missiles, he repeatedly answered that “Israel has said it will not be the first to have nuclear weapons in the Middle East.”
According to Gideon Behar, there should be no comparison between Israel and Iran, stating that the Iranian regime is fanatical.
He added that the ideology of Iran is to export the Islamic revolution not only in its region but also worldwide.
“The combination of a regime that is very fanatical with very destructive means. And their wish to acquire them also poses a danger to the region,” Gideon stated.
The ambassador emphasized that Iran is in the process of building over 8,000 ballistic missiles and has in its possession an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM).
On the matter of Israel giving up any ICBMs and nuclear weapons in its possession, if Iran stops having any nuclear weapons in its possession, he noted that Israel is not the point of concern.
Defending the reason why Israel will retain its nuclear weapons, he claimed that the country must maintain its defense capacity.
“The question is always Iran; Israel is not the question here. Israel is the good guy. The bad guy is the Iranian regime.” Gideon Behar noted.
Israel poses no threat to any country and has not issued any threat to any other country in the region; instead, it is a stabilizing force in the region, according to Behar.
In addition, he noted that Israel has proven to be a constructive force due to the diplomatic ties with Egypt, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Morocco, and Bahrain.

Iran attacks on Israel According to Gideon Behar
According to Behar, Israel has been under approximately three attacks by the proxies of Iran, Hezbollah, and Hamas.
Additionally, numerous attacks have been launched against Israel on multiple accounts, and that is the reason why Behar affirms that Israel has a legitimate right to remain heavily armed.
Iranians are alleged to have been supplying billions of dollars to terrorist organizations in the Middle East to attack airports and energy infrastructure.
Some of the terrorist organizations included Hezbollah, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, the Houthis in Yemen, and Shiite militias in Iraq and Syria.
Attacks launched on Israel by the Iranians affected the civilians and the civilian infrastructure. The attacks, however, were anticipated by the Israeli government, but the attack on the Gulf state was a surprise.
Commenting on the ongoing Iranian attacks, the ambassador stated that Iran attacked 12 countries that had not participated in the war against Iran.

International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Report
A report by the Vienna-based International Atomic Energy Agency said that as of June 13, Iran had 440.9 kilograms (972 pounds) of uranium enriched to 60%.
The amount had increased by 32.3 kilograms (71.2 pounds) since the last report by the IAEA on Iran’s uranium enrichment in May.
According to the IAEA, approximately 42 kilograms of 60% enriched uranium is theoretically enough to produce one atomic bomb if enriched further to 90%.
However, Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, stated that Iran will under no circumstances ever develop a nuclear weapon in a statement issued on Wednesday, February 25.
