Joho Reveals What Happened After His Number Was Leaked

Mining, Blue Economy, and Maritime Affairs Cabinet Secretary Hassan Joho has hit back at Kenyans who leaked his phone number online.

According to Joho, several people called him last night while others decided to send him petty cash.

Further, the CS has dared Kenyans to send him even bigger amounts of money, saying that he is ready to receive all of it.

“They came after me last night. They said that they would greet me and send me Ksh1. Please, come back today with Ksh100 each or Ksh200. I am waiting for that money.

“I want to tell the young people of this country, the country cannot be run like that. You sit on the internet and become so unpatriotic,” he said.

Joho Defends Raila Against Online Critics

Joho called out Kenyans who are not supporting Azimio Leader Raila Odinga’s bid for the African Union (AU) chairmanship position.

According to Joho, it is a show of disrespect which is uncalled for.

“Like Junet Said, I am an expert. Why would I sit online with a Kenyan who doesn’t have a future and knows nothing who is saying that Raila Odinga must fall? The person also has the confidence to speak about the African Union (AU).

“How unpatriotic can you be that even when one of you has an opportunity to lead you go against them? We will come for you,’ he added.

At the same time, he has warned Kenyans who are praying for the death of different leaders, saying that the government will haunt them.

Joho noted that investors are informed by conversations online and Kenyans are only working against themselves.

“This is the only country where a person goes on social media to create graves and pray for leaders to die. You have become an expert on everything.

“Let me tell you why I have decided to respond to you, when I went to New York, 90 percent of investment conversations were informed by some participation on social media,” noted the CS.
