Popular Gen Z Activist, Kasmuel McOure on Monday, September 23 told off Githunguri Member of Parliament (MP) Gathoni wa Muchomba for failing to mention people behind corruption in the Kenya Kwanza Government.
In a statement, Kasmuel compared the legislator to some social media influencers who threaten to reveal critical information but later retreat.
“Wamuchomba, here you sound like one of those Twitter figures who threaten to expose but never deliver. You talk about naming and shaming, but when it’s time to back your words, you give us an ill-written poem instead,” Kasmuel claimed.
Kasmuel also alleged that the legislator was not being honest about the politics of betrayal, citing that she herself is a beneficiary of such politics.
Kasmuel criticizes Wamuchomba
“You talk about the politics of betrayal as if that’s not what got you into power. Didn’t Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua say the other night that former President Uhuru Kenyatta had warned you guys?”
He further alleged that all that the Githunguri legislator has been advocating for is tribal politics.
“All you’re doing, roaming the country with the DP is a despicable version of mtu wetu politricks,” Kasmuel said.
Kasmuel also questioned Wamuchomba’s credibility for not mentioning the names of those allegedly plotting to impeach Gachagua, arguing how he could trust her to expose those who truly matter.

“If you can’t even name those involved in trivialities like the DP’s impeachment rumors, how can we trust you to expose the ones who really matter?” Kasmuel explained.
At the same time, Kasmuel dared Wamuchomba to mention names in alleged corruption in the JKIA-Adani deal, Social Health Insurance Fund (SHIF), and other critical issues.
The popular activist was responding to Wamuchomba’s remarks which she made on a morning show panel on September 23.
Wamuchomba’s remarks
Wamuchomba fired salvos at some government officials warning them that the politics of betrayal has no space in the country vowing that she would not tolerate it.

She further accused those officials of having corruption cases, holding strategic positions in government, driving vehicles without number plates, and disobeying court orders.
However, she failed to mention the names of those officials when called upon.
