The Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) Foundation, in partnership with the County Government of Uasin Gishu, has announced vocational training scholarships.
According to a notice shared by KCB, the application deadline for the scholarship is on Tuesday, March 10, 2026.
“The scholarship will be available at various vocational training centers within Uasin Gishu County. The deadline for the application is Tuesday, 10 March 2026,” part of the notice read.
Interview Venue for the KCB Scholarships
Interviews for the Vocational Training Scholarship will take place between March 16 and March 19, 2026, at the allocated venues for each course.
Monday, March 16.
On March 16, interviews will be held at the Ainabkoi, Lianguse, and Sogorik Vocational Training Centers.
At Sogorik, the exercise will target candidates interested in motor vehicle mechanics, hairdressing, fashion and design, and electrical installation.
According to the notice, the exercise at the Ainabkoi Vocational Training Center will focus on motor vehicle mechanics, electrical installation, masonry, and food and beverage courses.
Lianguse, on the other hand, will focus on hairdressing and beauty, electrical installation, garment making, joinery and carpentry, and food and beverage.

Tuesday, March 17
On Tuesday, February 17, interviews will be held at St. Elizabeth Megun Vocational Training Center, Mugundoi Vocational Training Center, and the Kanetik Vocational Training Center.
At St. Elizabeth Megun, the Foundation will hold interviews for the following courses: plumbing, hairdressing, and garment making.
Similarly, at the Mugundoi Vocational Training Center, KCB Foundation will hold interviews for hairdressing, motor vehicle mechanics, plumbing, fashion & design, hospitality, and ICT.
Kanetik Vocational Training Center will focus on garment making, electrical installation, hairdressing and beauty therapy, and motor vehicle mechanics.
Wednesday, March 18
On the 18th, interview venues for the KCB scholarship will include the Eldoret Vocational Training Center, Ngenyilel Vocational Training Center, and Sergoek Vocational Training Center.

Thursday, March 19
The venue for the final day of the KCB scholarship interviews will be the Sesia Vocational Training Center, offering courses such as hairdressing and beauty therapy, garment making, masonry, motor vehicle mechanics, and electrical installation.

The KCB Foundation has advised all potential applicants to complete their applications before the deadline.
Scholarship Eligibility
To qualify for the scholarship, all applicants must fulfill the criteria below:
- Have a National Identity Card.
- Be between the ages of 18 and 34 years.
- Be willing to undertake the training at any of the listed training institutes.
- Be able to read and write in Kiswahili and/or English.
- Commit to attending all training sessions, including industrial placement in their city/town of residence.
- Be within one of the three categories (Skiller, Apprentice, Business Owner)

- Fill out the UASIN GISHU-March 2026 2JIAJIRI Scholarship application form as clearly and as completely as possible online.
- Only complete applications will be considered. Personal data marked with an asterisk (*) is mandatory for processing this application. Refusal to provide this data will result in the application not being processed.
- After submitting your responses, select “save my responses”. After saving, you can open the completed form, download it, and present it during the interview.
- During the interview, candidates will be expected to present their original National Identity Card and certificates of their highest academic qualification; failure to produce these documents will lead to automatic disqualification.
