KUCCPS Announces Slots for DPTE at Eldas TTC
DPTE is a three-year program aimed at producing well-rounded, competent teachers for primary schools in Kenya.
This program is examined by the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC).
Additionally, it is designed to produce teachers with an in-depth understanding of the subject matter, sound professional skills, and the ability to adapt to the ever-changing educational needs in Kenya.
The course trains students to become primary school teachers, either public or private. These teachers are usually referred to as P1 teachers.
It is also a bridge to do higher courses like a Diploma in Education, a Degree in Education, and eventually a Master’s and Doctorate in Education.
