The latest InfoTrak county performance index report revealed the names of the best and least performing Members of Parliament (Mps).
Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi and his Ruaka constituency counterpart Francis Tom Kajwang have been ranked as least performing legislators.
The two legislators ranked bottom in the report which compared the performance of 150 Members of Parliament.
The two legislators scored 54% against the top performing MP who garnered 70% as per the report.
Least Performing MPs
Other least performing MPs with a similar score include Dagoretti legislator John Kiarie, Nyakach MP Joshua Aduma Owuor, Jomvu’s Twalib Bady and 23 other Members of parliament.
Notably, a previous report by Mzalendo Trust also listed Oscar Sudi among Mps that did not actively contribute to parliament sessions.

InfoTrack Poll Research
According to InfoTrack the index was conducted between July and September 2023, covering all forty-seven counties with an overall sample of about 58,700 respondents.
Each county was treated individually and assigned a cluster sample which ranged between 619 and 3,400 respondents guided by the population and number of wards in the respective counties.
The first survey was conducted between July and August involving 36,200 participants and a second one, involving 22,500 participants, conducted to boost the sample size to ensure that each subcounty had at least two hundred respondents.
Top Performers
Igembe South MP Paul Mwirigi was ranked second at 66% tying the position with Christoper Wangaya of Khwisero While Mumias MP Peter Salasya came in fourth with 64%.
