Labour and Social Protection Cabinet Secretary Alfred Mutua has issued an update on the results of Qatar job interviews.
In a statement on Sunday, November 10, Mutua noted that successful candidates will be notified by phone call to collect their appointment letters.
According to Mutua, the results of the interviews that were conducted at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) will be received at the same venue.
Moreover, he has refuted claims that an acceptance message will be sent to those who attended the interviews.
Further, Mutua has warned Kenyans of cons publishing false information online concerning jobs.
“Successful candidates from the Qatar interviews will be notified by phone call, not SMS. Appointment letters will be available for collection only at KICC,” Stated Mutua.

How to Detect Fake Publications
Although one can easily be fooled by content shared online, especially in the wake of globalization and technology enhancement, it is important to learn how to detect fake publications and resist sharing misinformation.
One of the ways to do that is to determine whether it comes from an official website or a social media platform associated with a reputable organization.
A lot of fake publications try to appear like a real organization by using almost similar domain names or branding.
Additionally, many fake publications contain grammatical errors and other mistakes as in the case above, that genuine officials from government bodies are unlikely to make.
