Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana has called on Kenyans to prepare for a government of national unity after the August 9th general elections.
Speaking Monday in Machakos during the burial ceremony of Janet Nthoki Nduya, daughter of United Democratic Alliance (UDA) chairman Johnstone Muthama, Kibwana said the August elections will be “too close to call”
“It will be necessary for the country to have a government of national unity for peace to reign, “he said

Kibwana said it will be hard for the winner of the August polls to rule alone and that there will likely be another handshake
“Kenyans need to prepare for that because handshakes have been there since independence” he equipped.
At the same time Kibwana advised Deputy President William Ruto who was in attendance to desist from talking back to his boss Uhuru Kenyatta for the sake of peace in the country.
“At time is coming in our country when we will need peace to be made,” he said
