One person was killed after unknown gunmen hijacked a police Land Cruiser on Saturday, August 10, in Mandera County.
The land cruiser in question belonged to Deputy County Commissioner for Mandera East, Patrick Meso.
According to Mandera County Commissioner Henry Ochako, the gunmen attacked the Officer Commanding Station’s (OCS) vehicle at Kamor around 3 p.m, killing the driver before fleeing with the vehicle.
