Otile Brown Announces Return of Record Label

Kenyan RnB singer and songwriter Otile Brown has announced the return of his record label ‘Just In Love’ music in 2025. 

He made the announcement to his fans on his Instagram stories.

‘Bringing back Just In Love Music Label 2025 inshallah’, wrote the artist on his stories.

Otile Brown founded his record label after leaving Dreamland Music Label in 2017. In 2019 the label signed Kenyan artist Jovial. She however left the label shortly after she fell out with Otile Brown.

Record Label had signed two Kenyan artists 

The label had also signed Kenyan recording artist Lexsil, under which he produced the song Bounce together with Otile Brown.

The label went under around 2020  after facing challenges such as the exit of Jovial.

Just In Love record label has produced notable songs including Otile’s album Just In Love which was produced in 2020. Some of the hits under the album include Regina (featuring Juma Jux), Dusuma, Watoto na Pombe (featuring Mejja), Hit and Run (featuring Kaligraph Jones), Zaidi Yako among others.

The label was founded to promote local talent and local artists. The label was started at a time when there were conversations about artists who have made it in the music industry nurturing young up-and-coming artists.

Otile Brown emerges as the most followed artist 

Otile Brown whose real name is Jacob Obungo shot to fame in the music industry for his song ‘Imaginary Love’ together with rapper  Kalighraph Jones, in 2016. He then produced hit songs shortly after, such as ‘Baby Love’ and ‘Hello’.

In 2020, Otile’s song featuring Burundian artist Meddy ‘Dusuma’ emerged as the most-watched YouTube video in Kenya.

He is also one of the most followed artists on YouTube in Kenya with 1.5 million subscribers currently. His huge following has seen him becoming a brand ambassador for various brands including the Tecno Mobile

Born in 1994, Otile Brown is the last born in a family of four. He grew up in Mombasa Kenya, where he started writing music at the age of 13.
