Lawyer and politician Paul Muite has denied claims making rounds on social media that he is ailing from cancer.
Mr. Muite’s remarks comes after a photo of him went viral on social media showing he has lost weight, hence, the speculations by netizens that he could be sick.
Nevertheless, Paul Muite while addressing the online rumors said he has shed off weight to keep his sugar levels in control.
“Reports on social media that I am sick with cancer are NOT TRUE. Given my age, I have had to shed off weight on purpose to keep sugar levels where they should be,” he said.
Moreover, the Senior Counsel has been off the limelight for a long time, which maybe the reason why Kenyans came up with rumors that he could have been away for treatment.
Muite further noted that he is well, fit and up and about enjoying his life.

“I have never felt better; enjoyed 1 and 1/2 hrs jogging in Ngong forest this morning,” he added.
The last time Paul Muite was seen in public was during the National Delegates Congress (NDC) in Bomas that was organized to endorse businessman Jimi Wanjigi for presidency.
Furthermore, the Safina Party boss stated that the third liberation for the country will be about the economy and the social life of Kenyans.
He also added that his party and that of Deputy President William Ruto shares similar agenda for the country.
