The deceased identified as Purity Wangeci Kiringa allegedly left college on Friday, May 13 to visit her boyfriend VDJ Flex in Kirigiti, Kiambu County.
According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), Purity’s lifeless body had visible stab wounds and strangulation marks when it was found dumped by the roadside at around 6 am, on Saturday by a passerby who immediately notified the police.

According to her college friends who spoke to the detectives, Purity and VDJ Flex had recently had an argument after she found out the latter was a thug and confronted him with the facts.
Purity’s body was moved to City mortuary in Nairobi awaiting an autopsy, as detectives pursue the suspect.
