A prophet has given reasons why non-believers tend to succeed in life compared to Christians. Prophet Kelvin Ephraim of the Jesus Celebration Centre (JCC) Thika said such non-believers are normally loyal to their gods.
“Those people that do not know Christ, they sometimes tend to do well that those who confess and claim to know Christ. This because they are very intentional about their worship to their gods,” Gatitu said.

According to Ephraim, some people always go to the extent of using their loved ones as sacrifice to these ‘gods’ to get what achieve their goal.
He said there are families where first-born children are either mad or living abnormal lives while other members live a luxurious lifestyle.

“Have you walked into families, and you find one child that looks like a cabbage? Have you ever asked yourself where that comes from? It is a sacrifice that is kept there. They are the ones that sponsor all the wealth,” he said.
“Every wealth that they amass is sponsored by that sacrifice that is there. Some others are locked in rooms that you will never get to see them.”

On the contrary, prophet Ephraim said Christians do not treat God in a special way like these non-believers to theirs.
He pointed out that there are Christians who can pay Ksh20,000 for a massage but give only Ksh200 in Church.
Ephraim attributed the recent trend of Christians accumulating wealth and subsequently experiencing financial decline to such behaviors.
“Christians are not succeeding like they should because they take their God casually. That is why we are witnessing a lot of rise and crash among Christian cycles,” he said.

Prophet Kelvin Ephraim on Marriages Failing
Additionally, he explained that marriages always start happily before things take a turn.
He said the couples always start off with a strong foundation in prayer, but when they cease, the marriage starts collapsing.
“People might be doing so well in their marriage since they were praying and committed to God. But when the husband becomes the idol, God moves away and lets you run your own life,” he said.

Christians Should Not Die Poor
He urged pastors to address such issues to prevent Christians from dying poor, believing that they are only blessed or favoured.
Besides, he said Christians should ask some critical questions about their families and the struggles they face in life.
He also said everyone should do a case study to understand their challenges and overcome the systems of the modern world.
