Lawyer Dr. Ekuru Aukot on Wednesday, November 221 claimed that President William Ruto was dishonest about exploring job opportunities for Kenyans abroad.
In his statement, the legal scholar claimed that President Ruto was lying to jobless Kenyans by promising them jobs abroad.
“Looking for jobs for Kenyans in Europe is deceitful and dishonest,” he noted.
In a statement on Wednesday, November 22, the Thirdway Alliance party leader noted that successful countries in the world such as Asia and China succeeded by creating industries that produced jobs for their youth.
“China and most of Asia succeeded by creating industries that produced jobs for their youth that lead to prosperity. They did not go looking for menial jobs in Europe,” he added.
According to Aukot, Ruto was busy promoting the climate agenda abroad which he alleged would block industrialization in Kenya.
“Our Kenya’s economy is in a mess. President William Ruto is busy promoting the climate agenda for the US, UK, and the EU, which is designed to block industrialization in Kenya,” he added.
Further, he said the only solution that Kenya had was to create opportunities for the youth to grow.

At the same time, he dismissed the loans that Kenya was getting from IMF noting that the country would be paralyzed without any economic growth.
“Borrowing more loans from the IMF means that the next generation of Kenyans will spend their lifetime paying debts with no growth in the economy,” he noted.
Ruto Abroad Jobs for Kenyans
The head of state said that his administration was working hard to ensure that more than 3,000 Kenyans secure jobs abroad every week.
“Labour CS Florence Bore is signing bilateral labour agreements to export Kenyan labour. Every week, we want an export of about 3,000 to 5,000 people to provide labour all over the world so that they can bring us money to transform this country,” said Ruto.
Visit to Germany
Speaking in Bomet County on Sunday, Ruto had said that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz agreed to offer 250,000 skilled and semi-skilled Kenyans work visas during his visit in May 2023.
“The German chancellor was in Kenya a few months ago, and I am flying to Germany because he promised employment opportunities for 200,000 Kenyans, and I have to go organize for that,” Ruto stated.
