President William Ruto has revealed how the Kenya Kwanza government plans to turn Kenya into a first-world country.
Speaking during the ASK Mombasa International Show, Ruto asked Kenyans to reject the opposition who are talking ill of their motherland.
He said the future of Kenya is bright and the current administration can make history by transforming Kenya into a first-world country.
I stand before you in my confidence about the future that lies ahead of us. A future where, within our own lifetime, we can transform Kenya into a first-world nation. To get there, we must believe in ourselves and our country.
Ruto Sends Message to Opposition
Ruto urged Kenyans to ignore leaders opposed to his plans.
He emphasized that his administration must change the narrative and move Kenya to the next level.
“We must refuse the discouragement from the nays, pessimists, and prophets of doom who see no good in our country and speak ill of our motherland. We must be the generation that sets bold and ambitious goals. We must summon discipline, courage, and determination to do the utmost now that we have the opportunity,” Ruto said.

Ruto said Kenya is a beautiful and blessed country, and factors blocking its transformation go beyond resources.
He explained that what stands between Kenya must have focus, patriotism, courage, ambition and bold leadership to rise to greatness.
Above all, we must reject smallness of vision and the comfort of the average as Kenya was never meant to settle for any minimalist. Our destiny is great, doable and within our reach. Together, we will make it happen.

His Goal for Kenya
Ruto stated that his government has a long-term plan for Kenya, unlike others who focus on the next general election.
According to Ruto, his administration could have chosen to overlook the majority of issues affecting Kenyans and concentrate on the minority.
However, he stated that he chose to address the majority of challenges, which is the correct path for the country.
“This is leadership that looks beyond the short-term experiences of the next general election and is committed instead to the long-term prosperity of our nation. We had the option to take the easy way out, focus on a few areas, and defer the rest to a convenient time as critics wanted us, but we refused. We chose the right path because it was the one to a better Kenya,” he said.
Ruto stated that his decisions have proved doubters wrong and pledged to continue on the same path.
Today, we are proving the doubters wrong, and we shall continue to focus on the things that matter until every sector reflects the promise of transformation we made to the people of Kenya.
