The Wiper Patriotic Front (WPF) is a registered political party under the Registrar of Political Parties in Kenya, led by Kalonzo Musyoka.
The party was formerly called the Wiper Democratic Movement (W.D.M) and changed its name to Wiper Patriotic Front (WPF) through the Registrar of Political Parties, Sophia Sitati.
As part of its grassroots mobilization and political participation strategy, the Wiper Patriotic Front allows eligible Kenyans to join the party.
Wiper Patriotic Front Membership Requirements
To qualify for membership in the Wiper Patriotic Front, an individual must:

Have attained the voting age of 18 years

Possess a valid Kenyan National Identification Card or Passport

Wiper Patriotic Front Membership Registration Process
Membership registration with the Wiper Patriotic Front can be done through several approved channels, in line with Kenyan law and the Political Parties Act.
Registration via ORPP USSD System
All political party memberships in Kenya are managed and validated by the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP).
To join the Wiper Patriotic Front through the USSD system:

Receive an ORPP PIN via SMS

Select Membership, then Join Another Party

Choose your County, Constituency, and Ward using the provided codes

Confirm the party details and complete the registration process
Once approved, the Wiper Patriotic Front becomes your official political party of membership.
Physical Registration Through Party Offices
Interested Kenyans may also register in person by visiting the Wiper Patriotic Front headquarters or county offices, or during official party mobilisation drives conducted by authorised party officials.
Charges and Membership Costs
Joining the Wiper Patriotic Front via the ORPP USSD system does not incur a registration fee, aside from a minimal airtime cost to complete the process.
How to Deregister from the Wiper Patriotic Front
Members wishing to leave the Wiper Patriotic Front must deregister before joining another political party.
Deregistration can be done by:

Wiper Patriotic Front Nomination Charges
The Wiper Patriotic Front sets its nomination fees, which are non-refundable during the election period.
Following the 202 elections, the party charged:
- Gubernatorial Aspirant: Ksh 300,00
- Women Representative Aspirant: Ksh 200,00
- Member of Parliament Aspirant: Ksh 150,000
- Member of County Assembly (MCA) aspirants: Ksh 25,000
