Tragedy struck Sacred Heart Mukumu Girls’ High School in Kakamega County when a student passed away just days after 246 of her peers were hospitalized with various concerning symptoms, including vomiting, diarrhea, and dizziness.
While the school’s board of management chairman, Dr. Josphat Kaswira, confirmed the death, he remained tight-lipped about further details, stating that discussions were ongoing.
