Videos circulating online have captured a heated moment between a driver of the Super Metro fleet and another motorist in the middle of a highway.
The incident which occurred at Allsops area on Saturday, March 9, showed the super metro employee roughing up another driver, while a bus and car remained parked by the roadside.
Additionally, a crowd quickly mills around the two motorists causing a commotion at the scene.
Although the extent of the damage caused as a result of the accident is not yet clear, the passengers are seen alighting from the bus and gathering around the two motorists who were throwing fists at each other.
Quickly, police officers arrived at the scene in an attempt to calm down the crowd and the two motorists.

Kenyans Call Out Super Metro Over Recent Accidents
According to Thomas Kareithi, a user on X, the super metro management had failed in ensuring road safety by mamaging their drivers.
Also, he made reference to a previous incident involving the fleet where a driver was seen changing lanes and making a turn in the middle of traffic.
“The management has failed the drivers drive with hazard lights on changing lanes at will,” he said.
Additionally, Adele Lide asked that the Kenya National Highway Authority (KeNHA) is not blamed for the incident, adding that the matatu fleet had failed in managing their vehicles.

“I thought super Metro was a well-managed bus until I saw this.
“Then when the accident occurs, the public will be quick to blame KeNHA,” she said.
However, another user named Mr. Bro said that there were reports that the Super Metro driver was rushing a pregnant woman to hospital.
“I heard he was rushing a pregnant mother hospital,” said the user.

Driver Arrested After Previous Incident
In a separate incident, another driver attached to the company was recorded making a wrong turn along Thika Road.
The incident caused uproar among Kenyans online and later on March 4, the same day, Super Metro issued a statement explaining that the driver had been arrested.
“Following today’s incident of one of our drivers on Thika Road, we would like to inform the public that the driver has been apprehended by our company Inspectors following his misconduct of making a U-turn on the Thika Superhighway endangering other road users,
“He was submitted to Central Police Station then later picked by Pangani Police where the incident was reported and from there, he will be arraigned in court,” noted the company.
Super Metro is yet to issue any statement on the latest incident.
