Nairobi City County has a total of 2,415,310 registered voters across its 17 constituencies, according to data from the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).
This positions the capital as one of Kenya’s most politically influential regions, both in voter power and parliamentary representation.
Starehe leads with 169,575 voters, followed closely by Embakasi South (167,953), Westlands (160,739), and Dagoretti North (157,659).
Embakasi East, Kasarani, and Roysambu also post significant voter numbers, all surpassing the 150,000 mark.
The least populated constituency in terms of registered voters is Embakasi North with 113,344 voters.

Representation in Parliament shows a strong ODM presence, with nine Members of Parliament, including Timothy Wanyonyi (Westlands), Babu Owino (Embakasi East), and George Aladwa (Makadara).
The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) follows with four MPs, including John Kiarie (Dagoretti South) and James Gakuya (Embakasi North).
Jubilee has three representatives, while Kasarani’s Ronald Karauri remains the county’s sole Independent MP.
