Bungoma Prophet ‘Nabii Yohana’ Summoned by Police

Bungoma Police have summoned Ronald Nakalila Wanyama, famously known as Nabii Yohana to appear before the Commander on June 2, 2023.

The 83-year-old self-proclaimed prophet runs the Church for All Nations in Kanduyi, Bungoma.

Moreover, Nabii Yohana comes from Nandolia village, Bukembe West Ward, Kanduyi Sub- County in Bungoma.

He first came into the limelight after claims that he would unveil his own bible as well as a new currency.

Bungoma County Police Commander Franci Kooli stated that the preacher will be questioned about how his church operates.

According to the Bungoma police boss, the preacher, who has 42 wives and 289 children, is being probed for alleged controversial teachings.

Nabii Yohana allegedly has 93 books in the bible he wrote himself, which he uses to preach at his ministry.

Moreover, it is reported that he has devised his own commandments, adding two more to the original ten given by Moses at Mt. Sinai.

Nonetheless, the summon comes amid an investigation into whether churches in the region are registered and preach legal doctrines.
