Brown Murungi Kairaria is a Partner of Gitonga Kamiti and Kairaria & Co. Advocates and has previously served as the Chairperson of a tribunal within the Kenyan Judiciary.
Academic and Professional Qualifications
He holds a Master of Laws from the University of Liverpool, which he attained in 2019.
In 1993, Murungi acquired a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Nairobi.

As well, he holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law, which he attained in 1995, and was admitted to the Roll of Advocates in the same year.
Brown Murungi’s Work Experience
From 2003 to date, Murungi has been working as a Partner at Gitonga Kamiti and Kairaria & Co. Advocates.
In 2019, he was the Chairperson of the Industrial Property Tribunal, a position he held till 2022.
2016 – 2019, Murungi served as a Member of the Industrial Property Tribunal.
Between 1999 and 2004, he was a Legal Assistant at the Ndung’u Njoroge & Kwach Advocates.

As a legal assistant, he served the Waweru Gatonye and Co. Advocates from 1995 to 1999.
