Content creator Shorn Arwa has recounted the misery she underwent including a job loss after regaining her account that she had lost for two years.
Taking to her Instagram account, Shorn stated that she lost her account after losing her phone in South Africa.
“In February 2023, I lost my phone in South Africa, since it was my only trusted device I could not log back into Instagram,” stated Shorn.
Shorn Arwa loses jobs
At the time, Shorn contacted all experts she knew to try and recover her account but to no avail.
“I tried all the internet gurus but nothing happened. I spent so much money trying to get it back but nothing worked,” added the content creator.
Following the loss, she had to start a new account which saw her lose her clients due to a lack of followers.

“I had to start a new account from scratch and that meant I lost jobs because no company wants an influencer with zero followers. It was so painful and sad but I just never gave up,” added the creator.
Shorn revealed that she was so attached to the account that gave her a name in the content creation space. The content creator also stated that she believed she would get it back sooner or later.
Shorn moves to Dubai, launches new business
“I knew one day I would get this account back, I know to most it is just an account like any other but to me it was what brought me to the light,” added the creator.
Shorn Arwa stated that she was just trying to log into her account to find out whether it would work. To her surprise, she successfully logged into her account with over 239,000 followers.

In December 2024, the lifestyle content creator moved to Dubai with her family. The mother of one has been creating content around her fancy apartment. She added that she intends to focus on her weight business ‘Body by Arwa’.
“And number two, I have started a business guys, it’s called ‘Body by Arwa’, so anybody who is interested in losing weight, coz I was so big. I’m gonna put my pictures, I was so big. I had added extra pounds, and I was being fed and all that, so I decided to start a business and teach women how to lose weight and how to get their perfect bodies back instantly,” stated Shorn.
