Seasoned Journalist Edmond Nyabola has made a comeback to NTV, marking his second time coming back to the Kimathi Street-based media house.
Sources privy to the news have revealed to The Kenya Times that the journalist already began his new roles at the station officially on Saturday, August 10.
Nyabola’s comeback marks a new chapter for the station as he is expected to bring a fresh perspective to NTV’s newsroom.
Further, The Kenya Times learnt that the journalist has been tasked with editing and producing news content.
With years of experience in the media industry, a reputation for delivering impactful stories and strong editorial skills, he could be the man to further improve the news depth and quality at the station.

Career History of Edmond Nyabola
Edmond first joined NTV in 2013 the ‘Media Lab’ program, which approached his university while looking for interns. He served as a sports anchor for three years before moving to China-owned CGTN in 2018.
Moreover, he was recalled to NTV in 2019, and called it quits from the station three years later.
Before starting his media career, he worked as a research officer for a management consultancy firm.
He has a degree in communications from the University of Nairobi. The eldest of three siblings was raised by a single parent in Siaya after losing his father at the age of eight.
He narrated during a past interview that his educational journey had many challenges forcing him to work as a shoe shiner to pay his school fees.
Additionally, he has received several awards for his work including the Devolution Reporting Award at the 2019 Annual Journalism Excellence Awards (AJEA) Awards.

Latest Hires at NTV
Before Edmund, NTV welcomed a new anchor to replace Olive Burrows who exited the media house in May 2024.
The journalist, Michelle Ngele Odhiambo, is a news anchor with vast experience under her sleeves, working for different mainstream media across the country.
Before NTV, she worked as a TV anchor and host at KTN and K24 TV.
