Kenyans countrywide can now submit their opinions concerning what needs to be done to improve the competency-based curriculum (CBC).
The task force appointed by President William Ruto on Education Reform on Friday; October 28 published a notice on The Standard Newspaper listing the venues across all the 47 counties where Kenyans can submit their views.
Moreover, collection of views started today, November 1 and is scheduled to end on Friday, November 11, 2022. In addition, this exercise will be conducted between 8am and 4pm on the respective days.
Here is a list of the venues and dates per county where interested Kenyans can submit their views on the CBC.

The head of state had on September 30, 2022, appointed 42 members and seven secretaries to the Education reforms taskforce to review CBC progress.
This move was part of his plan to fulfill the pledge to have the suitability of the competency-based-curriculum evaluated.
Moreover, scientist Prof. Raphael Munavu was selected as the chairperson of the 42-member taskforce. This team was given a six-month mandate by the president in a Gazette Notice dated September 30, 2022.
They are expected to, among others, undertake summative evaluation of the competency-based curriculum and assess and recommend an appropriate structure to implement the CBC.
The task force is also expected to assess the examination framework and the quality assurance and standards framework.
