Disturbing footage has emerged showing the tense moments inside a Kenya Airways flight to Lagos shortly before a passenger died after becoming unresponsive during the journey.
The videos circulating on social media, seen by The Kenya Times, show the man visibly agitated as he confronts members of the cabin crew while fellow passengers move in to restrain him.
The incident happened aboard the Kenya Airways flight from Nairobi to Lagos on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, with passengers describing moments of confusion and fear as the situation unfolded.
In the video, the man is seen standing in the aircraft cabin and pointing at a member of the cabin crew as he speaks angrily.
Passengers around him appear to try to calm him down, with one heard asking him to sit down.
He briefly takes his seat but soon stands up again and continues confronting the crew.
The situation then appears to escalate as other passengers move towards him, with several men attempting to restrain him while the cabin crew intervenes.

Passengers on the flight say the man tried to open the aircraft’s cabin door while the plane was still airborne.
One Nigerian passenger, identified as Adekunbi Ewaola on Instagram, said passengers quickly restrained the man to prevent him from opening the door.
Another passenger claimed the man had behaved aggressively even before boarding the aircraft.
Nigerian content creator Lola, who said she was travelling on the flight, also recounted the incident on her Instagram page, the_neene, on Wednesday, October 7.
Lola said she initially thought a fight had broken out after she noticed the man walking up and down the aircraft while other passengers told him to calm down.
She later realised the situation was more serious.
According to her account, the man said he wanted to see the pilot and threatened to open the aircraft door if he wasn’t allowed to.
“At this point, everybody rushed towards him. The men used a blanket, while the cabin crew brought a seatbelt, and they held him down,” Lola said.
