Jeremia Kioni has said Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and Rober Alai have a similar train of thought.
Kioni, who is a member of the Jubilee party appeared on TV47 where he addressed allegations made by Kileleshwa Member of County Assembly Robert Alai that Orange Democratic Movement Party (ODM) is carrying a lot of weight in Azimio.
Kionii said he would not talk much about the MCA because he renders him similaonr to DP Gachagua.
“I don’t want to talk about Alai because Alai and Gachagua I put them in the same basket” Kion stated.

“Gachagua is the one who said, if you are not a shareholder here, ata ukitoka jubilee piga line huko nyuma because you will have to wait for shareholders to be sorted out first.”
“Alai then says also in the same breath, in Mt Kenya during Maandamano hakukukufa watu ya kutosha, so we don’t qualify to be in this committee.” Kioni compared.
As such, Jeremiah Kioni slammed the two leaders saying that kind of mentality notwithstanding which coalition they belong to will hold them stagnant.
According to Kioni that mentality makes them not deal with issues before them and instead focus on those that do not concern them.
All Presidents Have Worked with Opposition
Likewise, Kioni took a swipe at President William Ruto’s administration noting that there is no president in history who has not worked with the opposition.
“There is no president, including those who are now sitting in the office of the president, who has never reached out to work with the opposition.” He stated.

According to Kioni, the current regime is out to destroy what they think will pose a threat to them in 2027
Furthermore, Kioni opined that it did not make sense for Cabinet Secretaries to be signing performance contracts a year after they stepped into office.
