Political Analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has officially decamped to the President William Ruto-led Kenya Kwanza coalition.
The controversial political analyst who has been a vocal supporter of Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition announced he is moving to the Kenya Kwanza side via his socials on Monday, August 7 evening.
Moreover, Ngunyi disclosed that his defection is because of a change of mind, adding that he had misjudged President William Ruto using the dynasty lens.
“PUBLIC NOTICE: I have DEFECTED to William Ruto. I mis-judged him using the Dynasty LENS. But if the FACTS change, you must change your MIND. And only a FOOL does not change his MIND. I started Project HustlerNation. Now I MUST complete it. Iko Swali?” Ngunyi wrote in a tweet.

Likewise, while telling his followers to give President Ruto a chance, Ngunyi noted that retired President Uhuru Kenyatta is the last administrator of the colonia projects.
He claimed colonizers used dynasties to dominate the poor, adding that Raila Odinga was to continue in 2022 until the current Head of State won the presidential elections changing the narrative.
“CLASS WAR: Uhuru is the last Governor of the Colonial Project. The colonizers used dynasties to dominate the poor. And Babaman was to continue in 2022 as the Lord of Poverty. But Ruto STOPPED him. And Yes, Ruto has PROBLEMS. But give him a CHANCE.” He wrote.
In addition, Ngunyi admitted to being a gun for hire after paying allegiance to the head of state.
“FOR THE RECORD: I am a Gun for Hire. And then? What will you DO about it? I am a DOG of war. A Dog for HIRE. A mercenary for public good. I do not CARE about Credibility. It NEVER fed my children. What I know to be TRUE is this: Class WAR is LOADING. And Ruto is the DRIVER.” Ngunyi tweeted.
Your Defection is Worthless
Ngunyi’s defection to the Kenya Kwanza government has sparked mixed reactions from the political class and Kenyans at large
Taking to his twitter handle, Senior Lawyer Ahmednassir Abdullahi took a swipe at Ngunyi saying he was ordered to hate Ruto.
According to Ahmednassir, Ngunyi only follows orders. He also told him that his defection is worthless to the Azimio Coalition.
“Prof, you were ordered or told to hate H.E @WilliamsRuto You were not strong or smart enough to think for yourself. The defection of a POODLE is worthless. We are only interested in that of the MASTER!” stated Ahmednassir while reacting to Ngunyi’s tweet.
Hustler Fund is not a Project
Nonetheless, digital strategist and staunch supporter of William Ruto extended a welcoming hand to Mutahi Ngunyi.

However, he also took a swipe at the political analyst for calling hustler fund a project. Itumbi claimed whatever Ngunyi has been pushing for and failed was the project.
“Welcome. Quick correction. Hustler Nation has never been a PROJECT. The project was what you were pushing and failed. I told you countless times.” Itumbi wrote.
Furthermore, Itumbi while reacting to Ngunyi’s post gave him pointers concerning the hustler fund as he joints the Kenya Kwanza camp.
“Secondly, Hustler Nation is a mass movement, not something you drive to a completion, The people, in their collective form, are in charge. These are very crucial points as you join.” He tweeted.
