Emuhaya Member of Parliament Omboko Milemba has been appointed as the new secretary general of Amani National Congress (ANC) party.
Milemba who comes in replacing Simon Kiguru was unveiled as the new secretary general at the Mudavadi Centre on Thursday, May 4.
Moreover, Milemba’s predecessor has been nominated for the role of Chief Administrative Secretary.
While addressing the media after the appointment, the new secretary general announced that ANC party will not be folding to join UDA.

“There have been talks that we would fold parties to join Kenya Kwanza, but ANC will remain an independent party but within the Kenya Kwanza coalition,” Milemba noted.
The Emuhaya MP further stated that the Musalia Mudavadi-led faction is ready to start bolstering the party.
He added that they shall begin with a meeting constituting all relevant party organs.
Milemba noted that ANC will afterwards hold meetings with the party leadership across the country through a caravan that will traverse all 47 counties in the country.
