National Youth Caucus Chairman Kamau wa Mbiu has dismissed President Ruto’s call for Kenya to join the ranks of first-world countries.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Nixon Njau of The Kenya Times, Wa Mbiu argued the debate on Kenya becoming a first-world country does not make sense at a time when university students continue to struggle with paying their school fees.
He further stated that achieving first-world status is currently impossible, citing corruption among people in power.
