The former prime minister’s note came amidst uncertainty on whether there shall be protests in Nairobi or not.
The uncertainty arose because there has not been any action within Nairobi CBD as compared to last Monday’s protests. However, there has been cases of ongoing protests in parts of Kibira and Mathare.
Azimio supporters in Kisumu and Migori Counties have also begun their demonstrations.
In the previous protest, parliamentary leaders led the demonstration in the CBD before they retreated to meet Raila Odinga and other Azimio principals at Serena Hotel. However, their second attempt to get back to the CBD was stopped by the police.
