Formers First Lady Pastor Dorcas Rigathi has sent congratulatory messages to U.S President elect Donald Trump. In a statement on Thursday, November 7, Dorcas thanked God for Trump’s election as the 47th President.
Dorcas sent the message as a Pastor, a mother, and a wife, and on behalf of the Church of Kenya.
“Thank you, President Donald Trump of the United States of America! As a Pastor, a mother, and a wife, and on behalf of the Church of Kenya, we sincerely bless the Lord God for you and your family,” she said.
“Congratulations. What you spoke is the divine Order,” Dorcas added.
In her message, Dorcas cited Genesis 1:26-28 which reads as follows, “Then God said, let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures. that move along the ground.” So, God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”
This comes after former Deputy President (DP) Rigathi Gachagua congratulated Trump for his historic win.
Gachagua stated that Trump’s victory is an indication that resilience and a strong attitude can conquer any challenge.
“Congratulations President Donald Trump, for one of the greatest political come backs of our generation. Your victory is clear proof that resilience and a never-say-die attitude will always Trump obstacles on the path to your destiny. God Bless You. God Bless America,” he said.
Kenyan politicians allied to President William Ruto sent congratulatory messages to Donald Trump for a historic lead in the U.S. presidential elections against Vice President Kamala Harris.
Speaking in Florida, Trump already declared victory even though voting is still underway in some states.
Kenyan leaders allied to President Ruto have taken to their social media accounts to congratulate Trump.
Kapsaret MP Oscar Sudi said, “Congratulations, President Donald Trump, on your resounding victory. Someone like me who prefers actions over words, not just grandiose speeches filled with empty rhetoric.”
Similarly, Kirinyanga MP Anne Waiguru wished Trump success as he leads the U.S. again.
“Congratulations President Donald Trump on your election as the 47th President of the United States. I wish you success as you lead the nation forward,” she said.
Waiguru stated that Harris conducted a good campaign and is an inspiration to all women across the world.
“To Vice President Kamala Harris, you ran an impressive campaign and fought the good fight. Your strength and resilience inspire women worldwide—you’ve made history and continue to blaze trails for future generations,” she said.
She also wished America unity, progress, and all the best in the years ahead.

Biden’s Speech During Kenya State Visit
President Ruto was close to President Joe Biden; he made history as the Kenyan President to conduct a State Visit to the U.S

The May visit was also the first one by an African leader since 2008.
Speaking during the visit, Biden said the partnership between Kenya and the U.S. has gone from delivering the two nations to delivering for the region and the world.
“But this visit is not just about our history, it’s about the future of what we’re going to do together. And there’s a lot we can and must do together,” he said.

Cherargei & Nyoro
Nandi Senator Kiprotich Arap Cherargei also congratulated Trump and the Republican party for their historic win.
“Donald J Trump is becoming the 47th President of the United States of America. Trump 277 Electoral votes against Harris 226 electoral votes. As republicans take control of the Senate in the USA,” he said.
Cherargei stated that Trump’s victory is a major shift in foreign policy especially in the African continent.
Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro also sent his congratulatory messages opining that Republican policies are good for Africa and the Global South.
He explained that the economy with be better under Trump’s presidency.
“Congratulations President Donald Trump, the 45th & 47th. Republican policies have always been better for Africa & the Global South. The Global Economy will definitely be better with imminent monetary easing under Trump,” he said.
CNN reports that Trump has 266 electoral votes against Kamala’s 219.
Ruto Ready to Work with U.S
On the other hand, Ruto thanked the U.S. for working with his government towards resolving the challenges facing Kenya and exploring opportunities for trade, investment and technology.
Ruto mentioned that he is prepared to work with the U.S. to provide solutions to the issues affecting the globe.
“I am inspired that this moment is giving us the opportunity to leverage our friendship and to build a stronger collaboration to face up to the challenges that face the globe to make our countries freer, safer, healthier, and much more progressive. And I’m looking forward,” Ruto said.
