Former President Donald Trump has addressed his supporters after taking a lead in the United States (U.S) Presidential elections against Vice President Kamala Harris.
Speaking in Florida, Trump thanked Americans for voting him as the 47th President after taking one term outside the White House.
“I want to thank the American people for the extra ordinary honour of being elected 47th and 45th President,” he said.
Trump said he will work to rebuild America and fight for the US Citizens during his term as president.
“I will fight for you, your family and your future every single day with every breadth in my body. I will not rest until we have delivered the strong, safe and prosperous America that you and our children deserve,” he said.
Trump said his tenure as President will be the golden age of America.
“This is a magnificent victory for the American people that has will allow us to make America great again,” he said.
Trumps Grateful for Winning Battlegrounds
He pointed out that Republican won battlegrounds like North Carolina, Georgia, Petsovenia and Windgoson.
Additionally, he pointed out they are winning in Michigan, Arizona and Alaska and this would see him hit more than 315 electoral votes.
“Winning the popular votes was very nice, it is a great feeling of love,” he said.
He said Republican has taken back control of the Senate and is likely to the lead the House of Representatives as well.
“Nobody expected that, and I want to thank you,” he said.
Trump thanked his campaign team, his family and pledged that they will work together to serve Americans.
He also congratulated his running mate James David Vance and thanked for his incredible support during the campaigns.
Vance echoed Trump’s sentiments stating that he has made history after losing the last elections.

“This is the greatest political comeback in the history of the U.S and we are going to lead the greatest economic comebacks in our history under Donald Trump’s leadership,” Vance said.

Elon Musk
Trump also thanked Tesla CEO Elon Musk stating that he has been very key in his campaigns.
He mentioned that Elon Musk is an important figure in the U.S. and capable of achieving things that even the U.S., Russia, and China cannot.
“He is a character, genius, a special guy and we have protected our geniuses; we don’t have that many of them,” he said.
Trump is currently leading in both the electoral college votes and popular votes.

Election Results
CNN reports that Trump has 266 electoral votes against Kamala’s 195. This means that he needs only four to be declared President.
In the popular votes, Trump is leading with 51.1 percent ahead of Kamala with 47.3 percent.
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has congratulated Donald Trump, calling it the greatest comeback in history.
“Dear Donald and Melania Trump, Congratulations on history’s greatest comeback! Your historic return to the White House offers a new beginning for America and a powerful recommitment to the great alliance between Israel and America. This is a huge victory!” Netanyau said.
