Ekwom Nabuin is a Kenyan politician and a two-term Member of Parliament representing Turkana North constituency.
Educational Background
Ekwom Nabuin attended Maseno University between 1997 and 2001, where he earned a Bachelor of Education in Economics.
He later obtained a Master of Business Administration in Global Business from the Catholic University of Milan, Italy, between 2018 and 2020.
Career
Nabuin began his professional journey in 2002 as a Program Manager at World Vision International, a role he held until 2009.
He then joined ChildFund International as National Coordinator from 2009 to 2012, overseeing community development and child welfare programs across Kenya.
In 2012, he became Regional Manager for East Africa at Heifer International, transitioning to be the County Executive Committee (CEC) Member for Finance in Turkana County from 2013 to 2016.
His political career at the national level began in 2017 when he was elected Member of Parliament for Turkana North Constituency under the ODM party.
He was re-elected in the August 2022 General Elections and continues to serve in the 13th Parliament.
