The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2025) kicks off on December 21, 2025, in Morocco, setting the stage for a month-long football showdown that will conclude on January 18 at Rabat’s Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium.
24 nations will compete in six groups, with the top two teams in each group and the four best third-placed sides advancing to the Round of 16.
There is also a third-place playoff between the two losing semifinalists.
