The English Premier League continues to exert a major global influence, with over 180 of its players selected in the 2026 FIFA World Cup squads — the highest representation ever recorded.
Manchester City has the top player representation with 19 players, followed by Arsenal (16) and Manchester United (12).
In total, over 100 Premier League players are set to travel to the United States, Mexico, and Canada this summer to represent their respective countries at the World Cup,” ESPN reports.
Manchester City Lead with 19 Players
Manchester City has the most players at the 2026 World Cup, with featured players including Tijjani Reijnders and Nathan Aké for the Netherlands, James Trafford, John Stones, Marc Guéhi, and Nico O’Reilly for England, and Abdukodir Khusanov for the Uzbekistan national team.
They also have Joško Gvardiol and Mateo Kovačić playing for Croatia, Rúben Dias, Matheus Nunes, and Bernardo Silva playing for Portugal, and Rodri for Spain.
City’s presence is further strengthened by Jérémy Doku playing for Belgium, Omar Marmoush for Egypt, Rayan Cherki for France, Antoine Semenyo for Ghana, and the 2025/2026 Golden Boot winner, Erling Haaland, playing for Norway.

Arsenal’s 16 Players
Arsenal follows with 16 players featured across the top national teams.
Arsenal’s squad includes Jurriën Timber for the Netherlands, David Raya, Martín Zubimendi, and Mikel Merino playing for Spain, and William Saliba for France.
From South America, they have Gabriel Magalhães and Gabriel Martinelli for Brazil, as well as Piero Hincapié playing for Ecuador.
England will feature Arsenal players including Declan Rice, Eberechi Eze, Bukayo Saka, and Noni Madueke; while skipper Martin Ødegaard will lead Norway in the World Cup.
Leandro Trossard will also feature for Belgium, while Kai Havertz and Viktor Gyökeres will feature for Germany and Sweden, respectively.
