EPL Clubs with most Players Heading to the 2026 FIFA World Cup: Full List

The English Premier League (Epl) Shows A Strong Influence On The World Cup Representation, With 159 Players From English Clubs Confirmed In The Latest World Cup Squad Lists.

The English Premier League continues to exert a major global influence, with over 180 of its players selected in the 2026 FIFA World Cup squads — the highest representation ever recorded.

Manchester City has the top player representation with 19 players, followed by Arsenal (16) and Manchester United (12).

In total, over 100 Premier League players are set to travel to the United States, Mexico, and Canada this summer to represent their respective countries at the World Cup,” ESPN reports.

Manchester City Lead with 19 Players

Manchester City has the most players at the 2026 World Cup, with featured players including Tijjani Reijnders and Nathan Aké for the Netherlands, James Trafford, John Stones, Marc Guéhi, and Nico O’Reilly for England, and Abdukodir Khusanov for the Uzbekistan national team.

They also have Joško Gvardiol and Mateo Kovačić playing for Croatia, Rúben Dias, Matheus Nunes, and Bernardo Silva playing for Portugal, and Rodri for Spain.

City’s presence is further strengthened by Jérémy Doku playing for Belgium, Omar Marmoush for Egypt, Rayan Cherki for France, Antoine Semenyo for Ghana, and the 2025/2026 Golden Boot winner, Erling Haaland, playing for Norway.

Arsenal’s 16 Players

Arsenal follows with 16 players featured across the top national teams.

Arsenal’s squad includes Jurriën Timber for the Netherlands, David Raya, Martín Zubimendi, and Mikel Merino playing for Spain, and William Saliba for France.

From South America, they have Gabriel Magalhães and Gabriel Martinelli for Brazil, as well as Piero Hincapié playing for Ecuador.

England will feature Arsenal players including Declan Rice, Eberechi Eze, Bukayo Saka, and Noni Madueke; while skipper Martin Ødegaard will lead Norway in the World Cup. 

Leandro Trossard will also feature for Belgium, while Kai Havertz and Viktor Gyökeres will feature for Germany and Sweden, respectively.

Manchester United’s 12 Players

After the good form shown in the League’s second leg, Manchester will also have a fair share of representation in the tournament. Manchester United players in the tournament include Senne Lammens for Belgium, Altay Bayındır for Turkey, Lisandro Martínez for Argentina, and Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot playing for Portugal.

Also in the squad are Diego León (Paraguay), Casemiro and Matheus Cunha (Brazil), Kobbie Mainoo (England), Amad Diallo (Ivory Coast), Noussair Mazraoui (Morocco), and Tyler Fletcher (Scotland).

Chelsea (10)

Jorrel Hato (Netherlands), Mike Penders (Belgium), Mamadou Sarr and Nicolas Jackson (Senegal), Malo Gusto (France), Marc Cucurella (Spain), Reece James (England), Enzo Fernández (Argentina), Pedro Neto (Portugal), and Moisés Caicedo (Ecuador).

Liverpool (11)

Cody Gakpo, Virgil van Dijk, and Ryan Gravenberch (Netherlands), Alisson Becker (Brazil), Ibrahima Konaté (France), Andy Robertson (Scotland), Wataru Endo (Japan), Alexis Mac Allister (Argentina), Florian Wirtz (Germany), Mohamed Salah (Egypt), and Alexander Isak (Sweden).

Crystal Palace (11) players

Crystal Palace players include Dean Henderson (England), Walter Benítez (Argentina), Maxence Lacroix and Jean-Philippe Mateta (France), Daichi Kamada (Japan), Ismaïla Sarr (Senegal), Jefferson Lerma and Daniel Muñoz (Colombia), Yéremy Pino (Spain), Jørgen Strand Larsen (Norway), and Chadi Riad (Morocco).

Villa (11) 

Aston Villa featured 11 players: Emiliano Martínez and Emiliano Buendía (Argentina), Ezri Konsa, Morgan Rogers, and Ollie Watkins (England), Victor Lindelöf (Sweden), Lucas Digne (France), John McGinn (Scotland), Amadou Onana and Youri Tielemans (Belgium), and Evann Guessand (Ivory Coast).

Tottenham Hotspurs (8)

Tottenham produced 8 players for the World Cup including Micky van de Ven (Netherlands), Antonín Kinsky (Czechia), Cristian Romero (Argentina), Kevin Danso (Austria), Djed Spence (England), Pedro Porro (Spain), Lucas Bergvall (Sweden), and Pape Matar Sarr (Senegal).

Newcastle (8)

Newcastle’s 8 players are represented by Malick Thiaw and Nick Woltemade (Germany), Dan Burn, Tino Livramento, and Anthony Gordon (England), Bruno Guimarães (Brazil), Anthony Elanga (Sweden), and Yoane Wissa (DR Congo).

Brighton (8)

Brighton’s 8 players include Mats Wieffer, Jan Paul van Hecke, and Bart Verbruggen (Netherlands), Ferdi Kadıoğlu (Turkey), Maxim De Cuyper (Belgium), Diego Gómez (Paraguay), Pascal Gross (Germany), and Yasin Ayari (Sweden).

Sunderland (8) 
Sunderland, which was promoted to the Premier League in the 2024/2025 season, has featured 8 players: Brian Brobbey and Robin Roefs (Netherlands), Omar Alderete (Paraguay), Granit Xhaka (Switzerland), Habib Diarra (Senegal), Noah Sadiki (DR Congo), Wilson Isidor (Haiti), and Chemsdine Talbi (Morocco).
Fulham (7)

Fulham’s 7 players playing in the World Cup include Timothy Castagne (Belgium), Sander Berge and Oscar Bobb (Norway), Antonee Robinson (USA), Issa Diop (Morocco), and Raúl Jiménez (Mexico).

Nottingham Forest (7)

Nottingham Forest has 7 players who are Angus Gunn (Scotland), Tyler Bindon and Chris Wood (New Zealand), Ibrahim Sangaré (Ivory Coast), Nicolás Domínguez (Argentina), Elliot Anderson (England), and Dan Ndoye (Switzerland).

Bournemouth (6 )

Bournemouth’s 6 players include Justin Kluivert (Netherlands), Ben Gannon-Doak and Ryan Christie (Scotland), Rayan (Brazil), and Tyler Adams (USA), reports DAZN Sports.

Other EPL Clubs Players Featured in the World Cup

Brentford features 4 players: Kristoffer Ajer (Norway), Aaron Hickey (Scotland), Jordan Henderson (England), Igor Thiago (Brazil)

Everton, on the other hand, produced 4 players including Jordan Pickford (England), Nathan Patterson (Scotland), Idrissa Gueye and Iliman Ndiaye (Senegal)

Leeds also produced 4 players: Gabriel Gudmundsson (Sweden), Ao Tanaka (Japan), Noah Okafor (Switzerland), Brenden Aaronson (USA)

EPL clubs promoted recently: Coventry City featured one player, Haji Wright (USA); Hull City featured 2 players: Ivor Pandur (Croatia) and Amir Hadžiahmetović (Bosnia-Herzegovina); while Ipswich Town FC featured one player, George Hirst (Scotland).
