The Kenya Meteorological Department (KMD) has announced the regions expected to receive rainfall as November draws to a close. According to Kenya Met, most parts of the country will remain sunny and dry this week. However, rainfall is expected in a few areas across the Central Highlands, Lake Victoria Basin, the Rift Valley, the Coast, the South-eastern Lowlands, and Western Kenya.

Kenya Met weather predictions
According to the weatherman, the Highlands West of the Rift Valley, the Lake Victoria Basin, and the Rift Valley are expected to experience sunny intervals in the morning, while thunderstorms and showers are expected on Tuesday afternoon, as sunny intervals dominate. The nights are expected to be partly cloudy, with some parts of the region experiencing rain.
Areas within these regions include Siaya, Kisumu, Homabay, Migori, Kisii, Nyamira, Trans Nzoia, Baringo, Uasin Gishu, Elgeyo Marakwet, Nandi, Nakuru, Narok, Kericho, Bomet, Kakamega, Vihiga, Bungoma, Busia, and West Pokot Counties.

Additionally, Highlands East of the Rift Valley will experience cloudy weather breaking into sunny intervals during the mornings except on Tuesday, 25 November, and Wednesday, 26 November, 2025, where there is a chance of rain in a few places. Rainfall is expected during the afternoons, while the nights are partly cloudy, and some parts experience showers in a few places.
Areas within these regions include Nyandarua, Laikipia, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Murang’a, Kiambu, Meru, Embu, Tharaka Nithi, and Nairobi Counties.
In the morning, some parts of the Coastal region are expected to have showers, except on Tuesday and Thursday. Throughout the week, the afternoons are expected to experience chances of showers while nights are expected to be partly cloudy except on Wednesday and Thursday with chances of showers over a few places.
Areas within these regions include Mombasa, Kilifi, Lamu, and Kwale Counties, as well as coastal parts of Tana River County.

In the South-eastern lowlands, during the morning, the rain is expected to dominate the week except on Tuesday and Wednesday, where sunny intervals will be experienced. Even though rainfall is highly expected in the afternoons, the nights are set to be partly cloudy, except on Thursday and Saturday, when showers are predicted.
These regions include Kitui, Makueni, Machakos, Kajiado, and Taita Taveta Counties as well as inland parts of Tana River County.
The latest forecast indicates that the Northeastern regions will have a chance of showers in the morning and afternoon, except on Wednesday and Thursday, when sunny intervals are expected. The nights will remain partly cloudy.
Areas within these regions include: Marsabit, Mandera, Wajir, Garissa, and Isiolo counties.
