Kenyans in several parts of the country should prepare for rainfall over the next five days, according to the latest forecast from the Kenya Meteorological Department. At the same time, the weather department has predicted that cool, cloudy conditions would persist across Nairobi and parts of the Central and Eastern regions.

In its five-day weather outlook covering the period between Sunday, July 26, and Thursday, July 30, the Kenya Met said rainfall will be experienced in several counties, with intermittent cold and cloudy weather expected in Garissa, Wajir, Marsabit, Meru, Tharaka-Nithi, Embu, Kitui, Machakos, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Murang’a, Kiambu, Kajiado and Nairobi.

The forecast shows that rainfall will be concentrated mainly in the Highlands East and West of the Rift Valley, the Lake Victoria Basin and parts of northwestern Kenya, while most coastal and northeastern counties will experience sunny intervals, with only isolated light showers.
