Content creator Kennedy Odhiambo, popularly known as Crazy Kennar, has revealed the communication strategy used by President William Ruto administration to sway Kenyans.
Speaking in a TV interview, Crazy Kennar said the government relies on one pillar of communication to convince the people.
He explained that communication has three pillars, including ethos, pathos, and logos.
According to Kennar, the government banks on logos to invoke emotions and make Kenyans rally behind it.
“In communication, when you keenly study how the government communicates, there are three pillars of communication: ethos, pathos, and logos,” Kennar said.
“You notice that the government is very good at logos, communicating in a place where they evoke emotion, emotional appeal.”
Crazy Kennar governments should be judged based on what they deliver, not what they say or promise.
“One thing I’ve learned about the government, and particularly life, is a man is what he does, not what he says.
He advised Kenyans to check the credibility of politicians before they address any crowd.
Further, Kennar said the public should focus on what the government is doing instead of what politicians say.
“I always believe that before somebody speaks, let us check the credibility, the ethos part. Because they might say A, but do B. So, people should be attentive to what the government is doing, not what the government is saying,” he said.

Crazy Kennar Asks Media to Stop Covering Politicians
Besides, he asked the media and journalists to stop giving politicians airtime and space.
Crazy Kennar said constant media coverage of politicians makes them more popular and continue their behavior.
“I take my words to the 4th estate, I believe sometimes you should remove the cameras from these politicians because the more you put them on them, the more they become famous, the more they enjoy what they are doing,” he said.

Ruto Should Listen to Kenyans
Content Creator Kimani Njuguna asked the government to follow the Constitution and abide by the rule of law.
He stated that Kenyans only want to be heard, and they do not hate the President and the government.
“We just want things to work. Nobody hates William Ruto or the leaders, but can they listen to what we are saying,” Njuguna said.
He explained that the President should stop having non-technocrats in decision-making organs and positions.
Njuguna said such people focus on always being right instead of making the right decisions.
“We should avoid having people who are not technocrats in places of making decisions. Everyone wants to be right. We should put people who want to do the right thing for the country and are not focused on being right,” he added.
