The Chief Executive Officer of the Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MCSK), Ezekiel Mutua, on Wednesday May 29 met Faith Mutindi, the lady who went viral for gifting Pastor Kanyari a packet of condoms.
In a statement on his social media platforms, Dr. Mutua stated that the mission to reform digital media was still ongoing.
He went ahead to thank Pastor Obadiah Mwaura, who was also present during the encounter, for devoting his time to mentor and pray for young people, adding that faith can be a powerful agent of change.
“I finally met Faith Mutindi Peters, the lady who caused a TikTok sensation with the CD gifts to Pastor Kanyari.
The mission to reform the digital media goes on. Thank you, Pastor Obadiah Mwaura, for giving your time to mentor and pray for these young people. They are our children, and they must be guided and supported,” Ezekiel Mutua said.
Responding to a comment made on his post about the meeting, he confirmed that Faith Mutindi had admitted to clout chasing.

Ezekiel Mutua Calls Out Kanyari
The meeting came after Mutua called out pastor Kanyari over his conduct in the church.
Furthermore, the MCSK CEO said he was unhappy with Kanyari’s mockery of the faith and heavily denouncing the growing immorality in today’s society.
“Kanyari must be stopped. That’s not a church he is running. It’s a mockery of the church and a disgrace to the Christian faith. But he is a product of a sick society that we have become, a society that thrives on clout chasing and side shows, a society where morality is despised, good people are demonised, and thieves canonized,” Mutua stressed.
Moreover, he had pointed out that the likes of Kanyari who are failing in their roles as moral mentors are major contributors to the moral drift among the youth.
“This is why many youths are deviating from values. It seems like being morally upright, upholding values and being disciplined does not pay. We are setting a bad example, and jokers like Kanyari must not be allowed to promote this moral degradation,” he added.
Meeting with Kanyari for Prayers
Hit by his actions following the uproar video, Kanyari apologized and agreed to meet with Mutua.

During the meeting, the duo discussed a number of issues before engaging in prayers.
The ‘moral police’ went on to state that he had to spare some time to meet Kanyari despite his busy schedule after listening to his story and genuine apology.
“That’s why, despite my busy schedule, I agreed to meet him today. After listening to his story and genuine apology, we prayed together and I took up the responsibility of mentoring him,” he affirmed.
Mutua added that Kanyari had expressed genuine remorse and was even starting a new journey under his mentorship.
“Pastor Victor Kanyari is genuinely remorseful. He apologized publicly and committed to change and even went live on TikTok to begin the new journey under my mentorship,” Mutua said.
