Lang’ata member of parliament Phelix Odiwour, popularly known as Jalang’o, was on Thursday, February 9 kicked out of Azimio’s Parliamentary Group meeting.
The meeting convened by ODM leader Raila Odinga was held at Maanzoni Lodge in Machakos County.
Moreover, a commotion was witnessed at the facility in the morning before the Azimio leader arrived after a group of men blocked Jalang’o from accessing the meeting hall.
However, the Lang’ata MP was allowed in after the brief commotion only to be sent away later.
While addressing the press after he was kicked out of the meeting hall, Jalang’o stated that a member of Raila Odinga’s security team asked him to leave the hall.
“When I came in, a few boys tried to block me, but I was later allowed in. When Raila walked in, his close security told me to get out, I feel bad. You know I love Baba… I am a member of ODM” the Lang’ata MP stated.
“I can’t regret meeting Ruto, I had gone there on my own capacity, and he called me for development issues,” Jalang’o added.
Nonetheless, the Lang’ata MPs predicaments is linked to a meeting he held with President William Ruto on Monday, February 6.
